May 4, 2026 is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the general primary election being held on May 19, 2026! You can complete your voter registration application in as little as 10 minutes. You can also apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot until May 12, 2026.
To register to vote in Pennsylvania, you must:
Be a citizen of the United States for at least one month before the election.
Be a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which you want to register and vote for at least 30 days before the election.
Be at least 18 years old on or before the day of the election.
