2025 marked the second annual Mark Graziadio Memorial Scholarship.

Mark Graziadio Memorial Scholarship  

The Wayne County Democratic Committee is pleased to announce the Mark Graziadio Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship has been established to honor the memory of Mark Graziadio, past chairperson of the Wayne County Democratic Committee. Mark had a deep commitment to help foster an understanding of the ideals that helped build our country and government. We hope that this scholarship inspires activism in Wayne County. The 2025 scholarship was for $1,000. 

2025 Applicant Requirements:

  • Wayne county resident

  • Senior in high school, graduating in 2025

  • At least a “C” average

  • Furthering education beyond high school (e.g., trade school, 2-year college, or 4-year college or university)

  • Completion of an essay about civic engagement (approximately 500 words)

The successful applicant was notified on May 15, 2025. Submission of high school transcript and copy of acceptance letter are required for consideration. For questions on next year’s scholarship, email waynepademocratscholarship@gmail.com.
