In response to a request by the new Crisis Center in Honesdale, we are creating a community blanket. Our knitters/crocheters are creating 10" squares that will be joined together to create the blanket. Hopefully with the proper skill level, some will include inspirational words, like "hope" "love" "peace" and some will include hearts or rainbows. If you would like to contribute or learn how to create a square, the next Knitting Social will be Sunday, March 8, from 1-3PM at HQ. If you plan to contribute a square, please use acrylic yarn so that the blanket can stand up to washing.
